The new HowUdish website contains a video which users see first when the enter the site. The video explains the app in under one minute and entices web users to sign up for free. The content of the embedded YouTube video is kept very simple and can be watched easily on mobile devices.
The Call-To-Action (CTA) is highly critical for the success of landing pages. For the Restaurant landing page, we used a simple CTA “Join Now” and added a catchphrase below “Claim your free month of promotion from Sponsored Dishes”. This keeps the offer simple while adding urgency and incentives at the same time.
